Police: Bethel man reported missing found safe

BETHEL — An 83-year-old Bethel man was found safe on Thursday after being reported missing the day before, according to Vermont State Police.

Allan Greenberg was reported missing after having been last heard from at approximately at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at a residence at 210 Lilliesville Brook Road in Bethel, according to a Thursday morning news release.

Greenberg’s mental health was of concern, police said.

By noon on Thursday, Greenberg was found safe a short distance from his residence in Bethel following an investigation and search by Vermont State Police New England K9 and Vermont Game Wardens.
