Tree time in Plainfield

Andrea, left, and Paul Calandrella, both of Lebanon, N.H., carry their Christmas tree back to the car after cutting it down at Lee’s Trees in Plainfield, N.H., on Friday, Dec. 8, 2023. This is the first year the Calandrellas have chosen a tree without their three children, two of whom are in college, but they agreed to wait to decorate it until everyone is back home. “They get a little nostalgic when they’ve been away at school,” Paul Calandrella said, “and we’re happy to accommodate that obviously.” (Valley News / Report For America - Alex Driehaus) Copyright Valley News.
