WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — Hartford has moved its Juneteenth celebration from Saturday to Sunday, due to the weather forecast.

The event will now take place from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Lyman Point Park at 167 Maple St., in White River Junction.

Saturday’s forecast calls for thunderstorms and organizer Joe Major said the decision was made to postpone the event to keep attendees safe.
