Crew
Hanover wins home regatta
The Hanover boys crew team won all of its races on the Connecticut River against Hingham High School and Tabor Academy, schools from Massachusetts, on Saturday.
The boys had wins in six boats in the 1,400-meter races upstream with light winds. The Hanover girls’ fourth boat was victorious, and the first and second boats finished second.
“Hanover had a very competitive day,” Hanover coach Julie Stevenson said.
The results will likely mean the top three boys and girls crews have a chance to qualify for New Englands, which take place in Worcester, Mass., this weekend, Stevenson said.
