Key players: Hanover — Pauline Rudd (3 goals); Katharine Moseley (1 goal, 2 assists); Nora Bradley (1 goal, 1 assist); Rachel Rockmore (1 goal); Casey Wilkinson (3 assists); Maggie Feng, Hannah Gardner and Julia Lawe (1 assist each); Eleanor Edson (23 saves)

Highlights: Trailing 1-0 at the end of the first period, Hanover came out flying in the second, scoring four consecutive goals (two by Rudd, one each from Moseley and Rockmore) to go up 4-1. Bradley buried a Wilkinson rebound and Rudd finished off the scoring, earning a hat trick. NHIAA Division I-leading OR-Portsmouth’s only losses this season have been to the Bears.

Coach’s quote: “Pauline’s hattie is a reward for all the extra work she does. She helped supply the energy, but the entire team played well today. I liked our determination and discipline. Key players: Hartford — Zoe Zanleoni, Grace Hayes, Nella Bowen

Highlights: Zanleoni had a natural hat trick in the first period and added two more later for a five-goal night as the Hurricanes ended a five-game losing streak. Hayes tallied four assists, and Bowen stopped 21 pucks.

Hanover 4, Keene 2

Key players: Hanover — Tim Rudd (1 goal, 2 assists); Ronan Przydzielski (2 goals, 1 assist); Kellen Hall (1 goal); JoJo Drent (35 saves)

Highlights: Drent’s big performance led Bears to their fifth straight victory. Hall’s goal was on a blast from the blue line, getting the scoring going early in the first period. The win kept Hanover in second place in the NHIAA Division I standings on point rating over Salem (8-2-1), trailing only Concord (11-2-0).

Coach’s quote: “We found a way to win even though Keene had us pinned in our end for much of the third period. JoJo was solid and first star of the game.” — Hanover’s Dick Dodds
