Highlights: Playoff basketball: Hanover got off to a quick start, leading 15-4 after one quarter and 31-11 at halftime en route to the NHIAA Division II tournament win. In the second half, it was more of the same as Hanover continued their stellar play winning all four quarters. The seventh-ranked Bears go to No. 2 Laconia for a Saturday quarterfinal at 5 p.m.

Highlights: Close game throughout. No. 8 Oxbow was up by seven at the end of three quarters and slowly started pulling away from No. 9 Randolph for a VPA Division III tournament victory. Libby Swift had a career-high 20 points to lead the way, and Brooke Osgood added 10 for the Olympians, who visit No. 1 Hazen in Friday night’s quarterfinals.
