Windsor 7, Harwood 0

Key players: Windsor — Mackenzie Kleefisch, Gianna Felice, Hannah Tenney, Olivia Dube, Lily Prebish.

Highlights: Kleefisch scored a hat trick and tacked on an assist in Windsor’s VPA Division III semifinal win over Harwood. Felice, Tenney, Dube and Prebish each tacked on a goal in the victory. The Yellowjackets will play top-seeded Montpelier in the state championship game on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at UVM.

Boys Soccer

Hanover 2, Salem 0

Key players: Hanover — Schuyler Clapp, Dino Gavetti, Sam Ames.

Highlights: Hanover overcame a slow start and scored two second-half goals to beat Salem in a first-round NHIAA Division I playoff match. Senior Schuyler Clapp scored his second goal of the season at 51 minutes, and freshman Dino Gavetti scored his team-leading ninth goal 10 minutes before the end of the match for a critical insurance goal, assisted by classmate Andres Tzilianos. Senior Henry Cotter had two saves to earn his ninth shutout of the season. The Bears have 11 clean sheets, a 10-year high. Hanover will now host a quarterfinal game Saturday at 3:00 p.m.

Key players: Mascoma — Tanner Moulton, Landon Ramirez, Matt Favreau.

Highlights: Goalkeeper Favreau secured the shutout against Raymond for the first-round Division III playoff victory. Moulton and Brayden Pierce combined for four goals to overpower the Raymond defense. Ramirez and Marshall Yorke tallied goals as well.

Stevens 2, Derryfield 1

Key players: Stevens — Logan Minckler, Joey Ruffin, Connor Miller.

Highlights: Miller assisted both goals in Stevens’ first-round Division III tournament win over Derryfield on Wednesday night. Minckler scored Stevens’ opening goal, heading in a ball from Miller off a corner kick. Ruffin scored the Cardinals’ second goal, again assisted by Miller. Stevens will play Mascoma on Saturday in a Division III quarterfinals matchup.
