Souhegan 10, Hanover 9

Key players: Hanover — Will Hopkins, Jackson McBride, Jack Lobb, Hayden Avard, Sam Loescher

Highlights: Hopkins hit a one-out inside-the-park grand slam in the bottom of the second to bring Hanover within one. Three batters later, McBride tripled to right to score Loescher to tie the game. McBride scored on the next play when Allie Muirhead hit a hard grounder to third that turned out to be too much. Souhegan scored three more in the top of the fourth on a single, an error, a hit batter, a walk and another error. They added two more in the sixth inning and one more in the seventh. Hanover scored once in the fourth and twice in the seventh.

Key players: Hanover — Evie Maitre (3-for-4, 3 RBIs); Emma Campfield (3-for-4, 3 RBIs); Bella Hunt (3-for-3); Abby Campfield (2-for-2); Jess Lobb (2-for-3; 5 IP, 6 Ks)

Highlights: Hanover collected 17 hits in the game as every player in the lineup had at least one hit. Campfield, Hunt and Maitre led the Bears with three hits each. Hanover scored runs in all five innings of play and broke the game open with eight runs in the fourth inning. Lobb pitched for the Bears, recording six strike-outs and two walks.
