CANAAN — Mascoma Community Health Dental Clinic has hired its second new dentist this month.

Dr. Kristen Gallub joins Dr. Thomas Duplinsky, director of dental services, Dr. Mona Elzarka and the recently hired Dr. Morgan Ritchie, who will begin working at the federally-qualified health care center in August.

Gallub earned her doctor of dental science from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California and completed her residency in general practice at Yale New Haven Health, according to a news release from the Canaan-based nonprofit organization.

Mascoma Community Health Center’s dental practice — which accepts Medicaid — is currently taking new patients and has open appointments in August. For more information, visit mascomacommunityhealthcare.org
