Driver dies in Interstate 89 crash in Bethel

BETHEL — A 41-year-old Vermont woman died of injuries she incurred in a single vehicle crash on I-89 in Bethel over the weekend. 

Lindsay Holt, of Plainfield, Vt., was driving a 2004 Toyota Tundra northbound on the interstate at about 5:30 on Saturday morning when her vehicle went off the road, striking a tree in the median, according to a news release from Vermont State Police.

Holt died at the scene.

A passenger, 45-year-old Justin L. Jeror, of Enfield, received “minimal/unknown” injuries and was transported to Gifford Medical Center in Randolph.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, White River Valley Ambulance and East Randolph Fire Department assisted state police troopers at the scene.
