HANOVER — A Dartmouth College student suffered “visible injuries” after being hit multiple times with a wooden paddle during a fraternity hazing ritual, Hanover Police said on Wednesday.

The student, whom police did not identify, was subjected to “multiple” blows “with a wooden paddle during pledge events at Omega Psi Phi referred to as ‘The Cut’ ” in August and September, according to a news release issued by Hanover police on Wednesday morning.

In addition, the student reported that he had been forced to eat a raw onion and when he threw up after eating the onion was “pressed to eat the regurgitated” vomit, the news release said.

Dartmouth student Q. Jones, 22, and Dartmouth alumnus Milan Williams, 37, have each been charged with student hazing, a class B misdemeanor. Jones was issued a summons last month to appear in court at a future date.

An arrest warrant remains outstanding for Williams, now a Fox Sports graphics producer who lives in Los Angeles.

An arrest warrant is also outstanding for Gregory Dominique, 38, of Boston, who police described as a “graduate member” of Omega Psi Phi. Dominique, who is also charged with student hazing, has “no known connection” with the college, according to a spokeswoman.
