VERSHIRE — Route 113 has reopened between Darling Hill Road and Vershire Center Road, according to a Thursday evening news alert from the Vermont Agency of Transportation.

The road had been closed since flooding on July 10 wiped out a bridge in Vershire. The bridge, on the sole state road that goes through town, has now been repaired.

VTrans initially said it hoped to reopen the road with a two-lane temporary bridge the week of July 24.
