Post-secondary graduations

Hojin Gong, of Lebanon, and Aaron Martinez, of White River Junction, graduated from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn., this spring.

Post-secondary accomplishments

Ellis DeMars, of Norwich, who is studying government at the University of Colorado-Boulder, made the dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester.

James Bromwell, of New London, made the dean’s list at Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Main Campus in Davenport, Iowa, for the spring 2024 trimester.

Izzy Herz, of Hanover, who is studying dance at Montclair State University in Montclair, N.J., made the dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester.

Vincent Ta, of Plainfield, who is pursuing a doctorate in pharmacy at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, made the dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester.

Victoria Constantine, of Plainfield, who is studying nursing at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences’ Manchester, N.H., campus, made the dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester.

The following Upper Valley residents made the dean’s list at the University of Southern Maine in Portland for the spring 2024 semester: Samuel Steinberg, Enfield; Zoe Smith, Haverhill; Mackenzie Kingsbury, Woodsville; Kaitlyn Macphee, North Thetford; Maddie McShinsky, South Royalton; and Zach Caron, White River Junction.

Georgia Winn, of Quechee, who is studying political communication at Emerson College in Boston, earned the School of Communication’s undergraduate Academic Excellence award this spring.

The Hanover School District has received $600,000 through the federal 2023 Clean School Bus Program to purchase three electric school buses and charging stations, according to a news release from the Environmental Protection Agency. Hanover is one of nine New Hampshire school districts to receive a portion of the $31 million in funding to purchase 110 electric buses, along with the infrastructure needed to support them.
