Springfield Hospital CEO schedules community forum

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — Springfield Hospital CEO Bob Adcock is scheduled to speak at a “Community Conversation” at the Springfield Library later this month.

Adcock, who has led the hospital since April 2021, is to appear at the event on Wednesday, Sept. 27, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Springfield Town Library, 43 Main St.

The event will include a discussion of how the hospital has faced its recent challenges, which include going through bankruptcy. Community members will be invited to ask questions about health care services.

The program is part of a series of Community Conversations the library is holding. The library is open to suggestions of other people and topics for future discussions. The library can be reached at springfieldlibrary@hotmail.com or 802-885-3108. SAPA TV is expected to record the event.
