Hartford Village bridge replacement to be discussed Thursday

HARTFORD VILLAGE — Vermont Agency of Transportation will hold a public information meeting on Thursday, June 22, to discuss the upcoming project to replace the bridge that connects VA Cutoff Road with Route 14 in Hartford Village.

The project will include a full bridge replacement with a wider structure and a new realignment with Christian Street.

During construction there will be a two-month closure of the bridge to allow roadwork along Route 14, in addition to the possibility of “several short-duration bridge closures” of less than two weeks each.

The meeting will take place at Hartford Town Hall from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
