Free heat pump installation and service training is offered

HARTFORD — Vermonters can receive free heat pump installation and service training beginning Monday, July 22 in White River Junction.

The two-week training session is offered by Vermont Adult Learning’s Energy Works program. No experience is necessary to participate, and career placement services and job shadowing opportunities are available to participants.

The goal of the training is to provide participants with the skills and credentials to begin a career in the green energy sector.

The training is open to Vermont residents of all ages and women are encouraged to apply. Participants can earn up to $1,000 upon completion.
