HANOVER — Hanover High girls soccer continued a hot streak against visiting Salem on Saturday, though it took a half for the Bears to break through.

Hanover’s offense got rolling shortly after halftime and kept it rolling en route to a 3-0 win.

“It took us a little while to figure out how we were going to get our plan of attack together,” Hanover head coach Doug Kennedy said after the game. “Once we figured it out, it seemed like we really took control.”

Hanover (4-2) entered the game having won three in a row.

Salem (2-1-3) entered the contest coming off of two straight victories, both against Goffstown High.

Hanover controlled possession and had multiple shot opportunities in the first half against Salem goalkeeper Lindsay Goetz.

“We’ve created a lot of opportunities to shoot and have had trouble finishing,” Kennedy said. “I think it’s a little bit of a mindset of the girls thinking I need one more pass or one more touch where sometimes you just need to rip it.”

The score remained at 0-0 entering halftime.
