WOODSTOCK — A pair of new cafes are opening in Woodstock’s busy downtown, and a new fine dining option is bringing a familiar face back to the area.

WOODSTOCK — Festering tensions within the Woodstock Police Department spilled out into the open this week as the town’s police chief fought for his job at a marathon public hearing where the town manager and several department employees detailed their complaints about and lack of confidence in the chief’s leadership.
WOODSTOCK VILLAGE — In Australian ballot voting on Tuesday, Village voters elected Brenda Blakeman and Lisa Lawlor to trustee positions in uncontested races.
WOODSTOCK — During Saturday’s floor meeting, voters approved a town budget of $8.35 million, with $7.27 million expected to come from taxes.
WOODSTOCK — In a three-way race for two three-year terms representing Woodstock on the Mountain Views School Board, voters elected incumbent Matt Stout and Sarit Werner.

WOODSTOCK – The smiles say it all.
Contested races: There are three candidates for two open seats representing Woodstock on the School Board: incumbent Matt Stout, as well as Sarit Werner and Kelly Linton. Carin Ewing Park is running uncontested for reelection to represent Barnard on the board. Bridgewater incumbent Lara Bowers also is running uncontested for reelection.
Articles of note: One article on the town warning asks whether voters support eliminating the office of lister to replace it with a professionally qualified assessor. Another town article asks whether voters support replacing elected auditor positions with a public accountant or auditor’s firm.
