Windsor bowler finishes 11th in state tournament

Windsor's Avery Bean uses fine grit sandpaper to surface the two 15-pound bowling balls he will use in a meet with Fair Haven, Hartford and White River Valley in Claremont, N.H., on Feb. 4, 2023. Bean said roughing up the surface helps with the balls' grip on the lanes. He also plays football for the Yellowjackets. (Valley News - Geoff Hansen) Copyright Valley News.
